My business is a corporation and I am an executive officer. Do I need a blue card?
If your business is a corporation which provides a service or activity regulated under the Working with Children (Risk Management and Screening) Act 2000, the business must ensure that all executive officers whose principal residence is in Australia have a blue card.
An executive officer is defined as any person, regardless of title and whether or not they are a director of the corporation, who is concerned or takes part in the management of the corporation.
You can apply for a blue card by submitting a Blue card business (BCB) application form (PDF, 245KB) accompanied by the prescribed fee.
Please note, a business operator must not commence or continue regulated work until they have received a positive notice/ blue card.
